These ARP rod bolt replace your stock rod bolt for a high strenght 8740 alloy chrome moly steel bolt. These bolts replace the stock rod bolts, which are a failure point once revved higher. This material is heat-treated to provide a tensile strength in the 200,000 psi range, which is significantly more than the OEM bolts. Fits both NA and NB, 1.6 and 1.8.
