The NA and NB Miata front subframe is known to crack around the front pivot/alignment bolt location, where load from the control arm and front wheel is at its highest. This becomes especially common on track, drift, or high-grip setups.

Our weld-in reinforcement plates are designed to strengthen this critical area and prevent fatigue-related cracking. Precision waterjet cut from high-strength steel, pressed in shape and finished with A dimple-died section, they add rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum and distributing load more evenly.

These plates can be welded in with the subframe still on the car, or installed during a full subframe restoration for the best possible result.
