Including a thermostatic sandwich plate that features two 1/8″ NPT sensor ports for oil temperature and pressure, this kit bridges the gap between the Mocal based kit and the premium Mishimoto kit. An oil cooler is required for any Mazda MX-5 that sees sustained periods at high RPMs, whether it’s on track or on the road. By keeping temperatures down, the oil is able to better protect the engine from wear.
