36-2 Trigger Wheel used on OE Pulleys and Fluidampr

Upgrade the trigger system on your Mazda MX-5 1.8 (NB1/NB2) for superior engine control.
From the factory, these engines feature both a crank trigger and a cam trigger with a 4-tooth wheel, which works well for OEM ECUs. However, when paired with an aftermarket ECU, a 36-2 trigger wheel delivers a massive improvement in accuracy and resolution.

This high-resolution wheel provides faster starts, sharper response to load changes, and far more precise ignition and fuel timing across the entire RPM range. On VVT-equipped engines, it also allows for significantly better control of the VVT solenoid and cam position — ideal for extracting maximum performance.

Works with NA and NB, BP and long nose B6 engines, this is a direct replacement of the OE triggerwheel. Note that you'll need a crank sensor on a NA (and not the original CAS fitted on the head), and thus a oil pump with the required mounting hole for the NB crank sensor.

For installation, the missing teeth should be positioned just left of TDC (counter-clockwise).
