These high quality Cometic MLS head gaskets are designed to withstand high cylinder pressures such as in turbo or high compression engines.
Cometic headgaskets are constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel for strength and contain load-controlled embossments that conform load distribution across the sealing area. This makes for a perfect seal while requiring less clamp load, resulting in less bore distortion. The stainless steel outer layers is finished with a FKM (Viton®) rubber coating, a high-temperature and chemical-resistant polymer. These gaskets are the perfect addition to a high performance engine build.
Available in all thicknesses.
Be aware that uncommon thickenesses have to be custom made by Cometic with a estimated delivery time of 2-3 weeks.
