Red Line Lightweight ShockProof is a high-performance gear oil that combines exceptional gear protection with remarkably low fluid resistance, Acting like a liquid grease. Its unique formula provides a protective film thicker than that of a conventional SAE 75W140 gear oil, while producing fluid friction comparable to a much lighter lubricant, such as a 80W gear oil. Can be used instead of 75w90 for Mx-5 Miata gearboxes and differentials.

We advise a mix of 50/50 with 75w90 MT90 for noisy or heavily stressed gearboxes, so 1 bottle of each.

We notices it's reducing the internal friction bias of a torsen, and we recommend agains it on track with sticky tires, unless you're looking for this.

Designed for racing and other highly loaded applications, it helps cushion shock loads, reduce gear wear and limit power loss. It is especially well suited to selected racing transmissions, transaxles, dog-ring gearboxes and quick-change differentials.
