The RPC 3.6 kg Lightweight Flywheel is a performance upgrade for Mazda MX-5 NA and NB 1.6 models, designed to reduce rotational mass and improve engine response. Manufactured from a single piece of forged 4140 Chromoly steel, it offers superior strength over aluminium alternatives and meets SFI 1.1 safety standards.

Weighing just 3.6 kg, it delivers faster throttle response, sharper gear changes, and improved acceleration. The fully machined, integrated ring gear eliminates the risk of separation under load, and the flywheel is tested to 12,000 rpm. A pilot bearing is included.

Designed for 1.6 NA and NB. Fits 1.8 BP engines as a lighter and smaller diameter option when using a 1.6 clutch. Used on all our naturally aspirated builds.
