Media Gallery: MX-5 Trackday at Meppen – 25-26 July 2026

On 25 and 26 July 2026, we returned to Circuit Meppen for another MX-5-only trackday. Together with SPS Motorsport and Skids ’n Tea, we welcomed a paddock full of MX-5s for a great weekend of driving and community.

Saturday evening gave us perfect summer weather conditions. The track opened at 17:00, giving everyone four hours of open-pitlane driving. Alongside the action on track, the BBQ opened and the paddock gradually turned into a relaxed gathering. After the track closed at 21:00, many participants stayed overnight at the circuit, making Saturday evening just as much about the community as the driving itself.

Sunday started dry, allowing everyone to build up their pace and enjoy plenty of track time. Later in the day, rain arrived and completely changed the circuit. By the end of the afternoon, the track was partly wet and partly dry—challenging conditions that were perfect for learning the car, searching for grip and improving your driving.

The paddock was filled with everything from standard road-going MX-5s to turbocharged builds and fully prepared track cars. People shared tools, exchanged setup advice and helped each other throughout the weekend. That combination of serious track driving and a friendly, informal atmosphere is exactly what makes these events so enjoyable.
